We did it! Our inaugural joint meeting with TBTC (Tokyo Bilingual Toastmasters Club) took place at an extraordinary venue in the heart of Roppongi, and it was nothing short of magical! Over 30 enthusiastic participants gathered, including remarkable guests from both clubs! The atmosphere was electrifying and overflowing with “Rapture”!!
There was a compelling Japanese Icebreaker speech delivered by a non-Japanese veteran from TBTC, and let’s not forget the fiery Icebreaker from OMTC (Carlos)! Our table topic session was nothing short of riveting, followed by an evaluation session that sparked intense discussions. The meeting, though packed into just 90 minutes, was a whirlwind of intellectual stimulation, and we capped it all off with some exhilarating socializing at a bustling Chinese restaurant.
