We are excited to welcome Chloe to our club and look forward to seeing her Toastmasters journey unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x2600;&#xfe0f; <strong>Meeting Theme: \u201cEnjoy the Crazily Hot Summer!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toastmaster of the Evening <strong>Noritama<\/strong> opened the meeting with the lively theme, <strong>\u201cEnjoy the Crazily Hot Summer!\u201d<\/strong> Despite the intense summer heat, members were encouraged to embrace the season with energy, positivity, and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f4a1; <strong>Word of the Evening: \u201c<strong>BEAT<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To complement the meeting theme, <strong>TM Joju<\/strong> selected <strong>BEAT<\/strong> as the Word of the Evening. Throughout the meeting, members challenged themselves to use the word naturally in their speeches and role reports, reminding us all to strive for our best in every role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f3a4; <strong>Table Topics \u2013 Summer Memories and Favorite Foods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Naoko<\/strong> led an engaging Table Topics session centered on summer memories and favorite foods. Members shared personal stories ranging from nostalgic childhood memories to family travel plans and their favorite ways to enjoy the summer season. The session reminded us that impromptu speaking is not only a valuable skill but also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f5e3;&#xfe0f; <strong>Prepared Speeches<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three inspiring speeches were delivered during the prepared speech session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hidenori<\/strong> presented <strong>\u201cBeing Right Isn\u2019t Enough,\u201d<\/strong> reminding us that effective communication is about building understanding and relationships, not simply proving a point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paul<\/strong> delivered <strong>\u201cThe Best Compliment There Is,\u201d<\/strong> exploring how meaningful compliments recognize people\u2019s efforts and individuality rather than focusing only on appearances or achievements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deni <\/strong>delivered her memorable Ice Breaker speech, <strong>\u201cMy Journey of Hope and Purpose.\u201d<\/strong> She shared her courageous life journey, the hardships she overcame, and how becoming a mother inspired her commitment to leadership and humanitarian work. Her heartfelt story deeply moved the audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f44f; <strong>Evaluation Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evaluators provided thoughtful and encouraging feedback for each speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Highlights included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Praise for effective storytelling, vocal variety, and confident delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suggestions to make greater use of pauses, gestures, and richer personal details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognition of Deni\u2019s powerful pacing and emotional impact during her first Toastmasters speech.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f3c6;Award Session<br>&#x1f389;Best Table Topic speaker: Hitomi<br>&#x1f389;Best Evaluator: Daseul<br>&#x1f389;Best Prepared Speaker: Hidenori&amp; Paul<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f4e2; **Club Business Session **<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">President <strong>Joju<\/strong> shared the importance of taking on Toastmasters leadership roles as an opportunity to develop communication skills, strengthen leadership, and build meaningful connections beyond work and family life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members were also informed of the upcoming <strong>Toastmasters International membership dues increase<\/strong>.
