✨ Empowering our contestants, learning together! ✨<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting was a little different from our usual ones\u2014and it turned out to be a very special one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our prepared speeches were delivered in both Japanese 🇯🇵 and English 🇺🇸.
Carlos, the winner of the English Speech Contest 🏆, delivered his winning speech by Japanese🇯🇵, while Frank\u2014who will represent Otemachi Toastmasters Club in the Japanese Speech Contest\u2014gave his speech in Japanese🇯🇵. We also enjoyed an English speech by Paul, adding even more variety and energy to the session 🎤<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also tried “subtle” (Word of Evening) different in Table Topics<\/strong> 💡
For the same question, Carlos went first, setting a strong benchmark once again as our contest winner. Then, two of our guests bravely stepped up and took on the same challenge 👏
It was fascinating to see how different perspectives and speaking styles emerged from the same question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evaluations were outstanding. Two veteran evaluators – Max and Naoko delivered their feedback in Japanese🇯🇵, offering honest and sometimes tough evaluations\u2014with a clear focus on how to win at the Area Contest and beyond<\/em> 🎯
Because today\u2019s focus was fully on supporting the contestants, we also invited additional comments from other members and discussed together how each speech could be further polished and strengthened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This learning experience was valuable not only for the contestants, but for everyone who joined the meeting 🤝<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final business session, our President Frank announced the results of last week\u2019s club contest, bringing the meeting to a strong and inspiring close 🔔<\/p>\n\n\n\n
