{"id":916,"date":"2026-02-26T23:09:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T14:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otemachi.blog\/toastmasters\/?p=916"},"modified":"2026-03-16T13:25:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T04:25:44","slug":"2026-02-25-otmc-meeting-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otemachi.blog\/toastmasters\/2026\/02\/26\/2026-02-25-otmc-meeting-report\/","title":{"rendered":"2026\/02\/25 OTMC Meeting Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a refreshing and inspiring evening with <strong>3 wonderful guests<\/strong> joining us! &#x1f33f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our meeting theme, <strong>\u201cThe Power of Refresh,\u201d<\/strong> reminded us how new beginnings energize us.&#x1f31f; Word of the Evening: <strong>\u201ccrispy\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 reminding us to keep our ideas fresh, sharp, and a little bit crispy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f3a4; <strong>Table Topics<\/strong><br>Taka led thoughtful topics around <em>graduation and departure<\/em>, encouraging us to reflect on transitions and new chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f31f; <strong>New Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Toastmaster of the Evening (TMOE): <strong>Tomoko<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General Evaluator: <strong>Ayesha<\/strong><br>Both stepped into new roles and did a fantastic job! &#x1f44f;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f5e3; <strong>Prepared Speeches<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Takako<\/strong> shared practical and heartwarming tips on choosing sweet gifts &#x1f381;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Naoko<\/strong> spoke about her experience as an EC member, how it motivated her, and encouraged everyone to consider joining the EC &#x1f4a1;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joju introduced a new voting and comment system, making our meetings smoother and more interactive! &#x1f5f3;&#x2728;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f389; <strong>Induction Ceremony<\/strong><br>A big welcome to our newest members: <strong>Tomoka<\/strong> and <strong>Paul<\/strong> !
