A big thank you to our special guests, Hiroko-san and Rarin-san! Your presence made the meeting even more exciting.
Kudos to Jerry and Noritama-san for hosting! And a special shout-out to our VPE, Akiko-san, for organizing this wonderful meeting.
The “Word of the Evening,” suggested by Tetsu-san, was “挑戦する” (chōsen suru), which means “to challenge” According to Tetsu-san, the Japanese word ‘chōsen suru’ (挑戦する) has a slightly different nuance from the English word ‘challeng‘. It was the perfect word for the occasion!
Ayesha delivered a moving prepared speech, and Max gave an excellent, well-focused evaluation. 👏
And thanks to Noritama-san, everyone got a chance to challenge themselves with the table topics speeches! 🎤
True to the word of the evening, everyone shone brightly by stepping up and speaking. Let’s keep growing and having fun together!

今回の例会で選ばれた「今夜の一言」は、Tetsuさんから提案された「挑戦する」でしたね！Tetsuさんは英語のChallengeとの微妙なニュアンスの違いについて説明してくれました。最初の日本語会にぴったりの言葉でしたね！
Ayeshaさんによる個性的な「色」をテーマにした準備スピーチと、MAXさんによる的確な評価も素晴らしかったです！👏
そして、Noritamaさんが準備してくださったテーブルトピックスでは、参加者全員が挑戦しましたね！🎤
