On February 15th, the Area Speech Contest took place, and it was a day to remember for Otemachi Toastmasters Club (OTMC)! Our members delivered spectacular performances, with two of them qualifying for the Division Contest. 👏
🎤 Contest Highlights & Results
Carlos – A Remarkable Double Win! 🥇🥈 In the International Speech Contest, Carlos touched everyone’s hearts with a moving story about his family tree, securing 1st Place! He also showed his quick wit in the English Table Topic Contest, winning 2nd Place with his response on the “happiest moment in life.”
Noritama – Table Topics Champion! 🥇 In the Japanese Table Topic Contest, the theme was “If you were to compare yourself to an animal…” Noritama gave a brilliant and creative answer, describing himself as both an animal and a bird, and took home 1st Place!
Frank – The Master of “Alcohol” Topics 🥈 Frank competed in the Japanese Speech Contest with his signature theme: “Alcohol.” His deep passion and storytelling earned him a well-deserved 2nd Place.

2月15日にエリアスピーチコンテストが開催されました！大手町トーストマスターズクラブ（OTMC）のメンバーが大活躍し、見事2名がディビジョン大会への切符を手にしました！👏

Carlos – 感動のダブル入賞！ 🥇🥈 英語スピーチコンテストでは、ファミリーヒストリーにまつわる感動的なスピーチで聴衆を魅了し、見事優勝！さらに英語テーブルトピックス部門でも「Happiest Moment in life」をテーマに第2位に輝きました。まさに快進撃です！
Noritama – テーブルトピックス優勝！ 🥇 日本語テーブルトピックスコンテストのお題は「自分を動物に例えると…」。Noritamaは、自分を「動物でもあり鳥でもある存在」と例えるユニークで独創的な回答を披露し、見事優勝を果たしました！
Frank – お酒への愛を語り第2位！ 🥈 日本語スピーチコンテストに出場したFrankは、自身の鉄板ネタである「お酒」をテーマに熱弁。その情熱が伝わり、見事第2位に入賞しました！
